  • 1/25/2021-This is Nicole Hebbe. I am having a lot of weakness and shortness of breath this morning. Even with the oxygen. Had video call with doc. They are sending out a Physician Assistant to assess me at the house. Want to listen to my lungs, get vitals and draw blood. Want to make sure I am not relapsing.   Please pray that I am not.
  • 1/25/2021-My sister-n-law texted me during service yesterday morning requesting immediate prayer for her sister who is in ICU under congestive heart failure.  Thank your for all your prayers.  Cathy Pope. 
  • 1/24/2021-UPDATE on David Hebbe:  His chest X-ray shows some worsening of the pneumonia. The doctor does not seem too concerned and made no changes in his treatment plan—he is receiving antibiotics and steroids while on the ventilator.  He spiked a fever to 101.3, so they put him back on the cooling blanket and it is coming down. She said he is resting comfortably. The blood work showed increased white blood cells. This could be a good thing—indicating that his body is trying to fight the infection.
  • 1/24/2021-Praise God!  David’s fever has come down to 99.1 and they were able to successfully get the much needed central line put in!!!  He also has not required any medicine to raise his blood pressure. The nurse is going to put a Bluetooth speaker bedside tuned to his favorite contemporary Christian radio station (K-LOVE). We are hoping he will hear familiar tunes and they will encourage him to have faith and keep up the fight. They will be repeating blood work and a chest X-ray in the morning. - Nicole Hebbe
  • 1/24/2021-I have an update on my friends family.  Sad afternoon.  Amy was told her cancer has been confirmed stemming from the breast cancer ans she is Stage 4ish.  One tumor is more than 6.5 inchs long. Radiology to begin will be to try to shrink that one so she has comfort AND RELEASES pressure on her spine. Dad is not a candidate for surgery due to his heart, and copd issues. The surgeon doesn't think he would make it through the surgery. Also mom seems to be having a lot of confusion not sure what’s happening there. Please keep them and their entire family in prayer - Stephanie Beach
  • 1/22/2021-UPDATE on David Hebbe:  Dr Kahn(?) called and said David has gotten significantly worse. He is on maximum antibiotic, steroid, and oxygen (via BiPAP) and he is still laboring to breathe. He is breathing 40 x minute. It is putting too much stress on his lungs so David has agreed for them to put him in a medically induced coma, intubate him, and put him on a ventilator that will take over breathing for him. The hope is that it will allow his body to begin fighting back. There are, of course, inherent risks with this, but the doctor and David feel like the pros outweigh the cons at this point. They will not allow anyone at the hospital because of COVID. I am absolutely devastated and hate having to share this information by text but I am keeping phone lines open for the hospital. Thank you for understanding.
  • 1/21/2021-Pat Rangus contacted me to ask that Jill, her daughter, be put on the prayer list.  Jill is expecting a baby very soon and her blood pressure is high.  She is at the hospital and they are monitoring her and running tests.
  • 1/21/2021-Nicole Hebbe just sent me a message. There is growing concern for David because his body is just not fighting back.  The chest X-ray and blood work show no improvement.  They have switched his medication and increased the steroids.  His oxygen level is still not where it needs to be even with the BiPAP. Nicole is trying to be strong for David and take care of herself so she can continue to get better.
  • 1/21/2021-Rene Chadwick's sister, Elizabeth Brusletten, passed away early this morning. She worked as a legal secretary for Everette Felts for 25 years.   She had spent the last several years dealing with Alzheimers and Nutritional illness.  She is survived by her husband, two living children, four grandchildren, two brothers and four sisters. 
  • 1/19/21-From Sheena Brown... My dad stomach bleed has stopped on it's own and now they are tending to his leg/foot. 
  • 1/18/21-David has been rushed back to ER in critical condition. He was on the maximum 5L of oxygen and his sats dropped to 74. He started turning blue—his face, ears, fingernails and toenails. Was on telehealth with PCP who told me to call 911. EMTs were struggling to stabilize him. Said they were taking him to VCU—New Kent to get him stabilized and then they would transfer him to the main VCU hospital or UVA—whichever had a bed first. All other Richmond hospitals are closed to new patients. I am so scared and worried. I can’t lose him too. Please pray.- Nicole Hebbe
  • 1/18/21-Sheena’s father is in the hospital and they're running test. They caught the person who hit him and charge him with hit and run.
  • 1/13-2021-My friends sister Amy Pike  that I emailed you about earlier this week is having a CT scan of her Brain tomorrow this is a very important scan to see if the cancer has spread there please pray for Amy this  is a very scary time for her and her family please pray her scan is clear and that the other areas where they have confirmed that the cancer has spread responds to treatment.   She has tremendous faith in our Lord and she and her family and I thank you for your continued prayers.   • 1/9/2021---From Stephanie Beach...could you add the Davis and Pike family to the prayer list? My childhood friend, Ginny, her father Jim Davis has COPD and has been diagnosed with lung cancer and will be visiting an oncologist to discuss treatment options on Monday.  Her Sister Amy Pike who is a breast cancer survivor was diagnosed yesterday with the cancer having returned and went directly to the oncologist from her MRI to begin aggressive treatment as it is also in other parts of her body and they are doing a CT scan on Monday   Please lift these families up in prayer during this difficult time. 
  • 1/9/2021-Joyce please add Lynn Goodale to the prayer list she has an extensive history of breathing issues and is being admitted to the hospital after testing positive for COVID  and pneumonia. She is a dear friend and is in great need of prayer - Stephanie Beach
